Substance abuse intensive outpatient programs are direct services for people with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health diagnoses. The service is designed to establish psycho-social supports and facilitate relapse management and coping strategies.
At Lighthouse Counseling and Wellness Center, we assist individuals who are struggling with substance abuse and addictive behaviors. The goal of our intensive outpatient program is to reduce the likelihood of relapse by offering comprehensive group therapy and counseling that addresses the unique needs of each participant.
We provide, at minimum 3 hour substance abuse groups, three times per week that encompass the process of addiction, psycho-education( anger management, conflict resolution, communication skills), and relapse prevention. The program provides between 6 to 19 hours of treatment services depending upon one’s individual needs with the overarching goal for participants to maintain sobriety for lasting recovery.
